I've been playing around in the kitchen, whipping up some truffle magic, and I'm so excited to share these four incredible recipes with you. Whether you're a seasoned baker or a kitchen newbie, these are so easy and fun to make and perfect for sharing (or keeping all to yourself – I won't judge!).

  • Hot Chocolate Holiday Hug: Warm up your soul with these hot chocolate truffles! Creamy, rich, and topped with mini marshmallows; it's like a cozy cup of hot chocolate, but in truffle form.
  • Peppermint Candy Cane Crunch: Get into the holiday spirit with these minty fresh truffles. Mint cookies meet creamy filling, all coated in white chocolate and sprinkled with crushed candy canes. They are festive and fun.

Each of these recipes starts with a simple creamy filling, rolled into perfect little balls, and then gets a luxurious bath in melted chocolate. A quick chill in the fridge, and they’re ready to be devoured. Seriously, could anything be more delicious or easier?

Oreo Dream Truffles

  • 15.25 oz package of Oreos
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz baker's white chocolate
  • Festive sprinkles (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Finely crush the Oreos in a food processor. Combine with softened cream cheese.
  2. Roll into 1-1.5 tablespoon-sized balls and freeze for 30 mins.
  3. Melt white chocolate and dip the frozen Oreo balls, then add sprinkles before the chocolate sets. Chill to set.

Peanut Butter Brownie Bliss

  • 1 box brownie mix (prepared per package directions)
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (for drizzle)

Instructions:

  1. Bake brownies as directed. Let them cool and mash well.
  2. Form into 1-1.5 tablespoon balls and freeze for 1 hour.
  3. Melt chocolate chips with ½ cup peanut butter, coat brownie balls, and drizzle with the extra peanut butter. Chill to set.

Hot Chocolate Holiday Hug

  • 2 individual packets of powdered hot chocolate mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 oz dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup mini marshmallows
  • Decorative sugar crystals (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Combine cream cheese, butter, vanilla, sugar, and hot chocolate mix until smooth. Freeze for 30 mins.
  2. Roll into 1 tablespoon balls, then freeze for 1-2 hours.
  3. Melt dark chocolate, dip the frozen balls, add marshmallows and decorative sugar before the chocolate sets. Chill to set.

Peppermint Candy Cane Crunch

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 15 oz package mint-flavored chocolate sandwich cookies (like mint Oreos)
  • 12 oz baker’s white chocolate
  • ½ tsp peppermint extract
  • 5 crushed peppermint candy canes
  • Decorative sugar (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Finely crush mint cookies. Combine with softened cream cheese.
  2. Roll into 1-1.5 tablespoon balls and freeze for 30 minutes.
  3. Melt white chocolate, add peppermint extract. Dip the balls, sprinkle with crushed candy canes and decorative sugar. Chill to set.
